What Cars Like is
Cars Like publishes vehicle specifications, pricing and like-for-like comparisons for the Australian market. It is an editorial and information service. It is not a dealer, broker, finance provider or agent, and nothing on the site is an offer to sell a vehicle.
Where we show running costs, cost-of-ownership estimates or other finance-related figures, these are general information only and not financial, credit or product advice. They do not take your personal circumstances into account, so consider your own situation and seek independent advice before relying on them.
Accuracy and verifying before you buy
We work hard to be accurate. Specifications and prices are sourced from official Australian material and checked before they ship, and where a figure cannot be verified we flag it rather than guess (see our Methodology page). Even so, prices, specifications, availability and offers change often and can contain errors. Figures on Cars Like are indicative and for comparison only. Always confirm the current price, specification and availability with the manufacturer or an authorised dealer before making a purchase decision. Drive-away prices in particular depend on state, postcode, options and the time of purchase.
To the extent permitted by law, Cars Like gives no warranty that the content is complete, current or error-free, and is not liable for decisions made in reliance on it. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Pricing
Each price shows the basis we captured and the date we verified it. Most are drive-away estimates for a private buyer at a NSW metropolitan postcode, so the actual figure varies by state and territory with stamp duty, CTP and registration. Where a brand publishes only a national list price (MSRP) we show that instead, and it excludes on-road costs. Prices marked indicative come from a reference rather than a live manufacturer feed. Prices change often, so always confirm the current drive-away price with the manufacturer or an authorised dealer before you buy.

Images on Cars Like are for illustration and identification only. They may not show the exact variant, colour, options or trim of a given vehicle, and should not be relied on for appearance or specification. Confirm the actual vehicle with the manufacturer or an authorised dealer.
Independence and how we make money
Rankings and verdicts are editorial judgements. We take no payment to rank one car above another. Cars Like currently runs no third-party advertising and earns no affiliate, referral or paid-placement income. If we introduce a commercial arrangement in future, such as advertising or referral partnerships, we will disclose it clearly, and it will not change how we rank or judge a vehicle.
Your use of the site
You may read, link to and share Cars Like content for personal, non-commercial use. You may not scrape, republish, or use our content or data to build a competing dataset or product, or otherwise reproduce substantial parts of the site, without written permission. You may not use our content or data to train, develop or evaluate any machine-learning or artificial-intelligence model, and any automated access must respect our robots.txt directives. Do not misuse the site, for example by attempting to disrupt it, defeat the vote or bot-protection controls, or submit automated votes.
If you break these terms or misuse the site and that causes us loss, cost or a third-party claim, you agree to cover us for it, except to the extent it was caused by our own acts or omissions.
Intellectual property
The Cars Like name, site design, editorial content and compiled data are owned by Untitled Media or its licensors. Vehicle names, logos and specifications are the property of their respective manufacturers and are used for identification and comparison.
Third-party links
The site may link to manufacturer, government or other third-party pages. We are not responsible for their content or their handling of your data.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the site changes; the “last updated” date reflects the current version. These terms are governed by the laws of Western Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
