Cars Like is an independent car-comparison site for the Australian market: specs, pricing and honest, like-for-like comparisons, backed by real data, not affiliate spin.

Sourced
Specs and pricing come from official Australian sources: manufacturer spec sheets, ANCAP for safety, the Green Vehicle Guide for energy figures, and regulator data. Prices are captured as NSW drive-away figures, so like is compared with like across every brand.

Verified
Every figure passes through a gated pipeline before it reaches a page: extracted, staged, validated, then matched to the exact variant it belongs to. Where a number can’t be tied to a trusted source, we flag it rather than guess, so we fail loud rather than ship a bad figure.

Independent
We take no payment to rank one car above another. Our verdicts commit to a pick, say why, and name the buyer who should choose differently, and we’re plain about what each car does well and badly.
