Kia EV6 or Skoda Enyaq Coupé: which should you buy?

Pick the Kia EV6 for its 800V fast charging, low sporty stance and the 478kW GT flagship the Škoda cannot match. Pick the Škoda Enyaq Coupé to save about $7,000, gain a better-equipped base car and a bigger boot, and charge mostly at home. Both claim over 560km WLTP; the EV6 refills far quicker in public.

258kW

DC charge peak

The 800-volt Kia EV6 peaks at 258kW on DC and refills 10 to 80 per cent in about 18 minutes, against the 400-volt Škoda Enyaq Coupé's 165kW and 29 minutes. On a road-trip charging stop, the Kia is the far quicker of the two.

Kia EV6 vs Skoda Enyaq Coupé: design

Kia

The EV6 leads with dramatic vertical daytime-running lights and a sharp, planted nose that reads lower and wider than the Škoda. The 800V fastback intent is obvious from the front three-quarter, the bonnet sloping into a steeply raked screen.

Skoda

The Enyaq Coupé wears Škoda's Modern Solid face, a slim light bar over an illuminated Tech-Deck grille frame, sitting a little taller and more upright than the low Kia. The coupe roofline is visible dropping toward the ducktail even head-on.

The verdict

Which is better: the Kia EV6 or the Skoda Enyaq Coupé?

Pick the EV6 if

You want the fastest charging here, a low sporty stance or a genuine performance flagship. The 800V architecture refills 10 to 80 per cent in about 18 minutes, and only the EV6 offers a 478kW GT. The entry Air is under-equipped for its price, so pick the GT-Line RWD at $85,627 (August 2026) for the sweet spot of kit and range; step to the GT if outright pace is the point.

Explore the EV6
Pick the Enyaq Coupé if

You want the most equipment and boot for the least money and you charge mostly at home. The Sportline 85 at $70,990 (August 2026) undercuts the EV6 Air by about $7,300 and still includes heated seats, a head-up display, a 360-degree camera and a panoramic roof as standard, plus a bigger 570-litre boot. Pick the Sportline 85 for value; the 250kW RS adds all-wheel drive if you want more urgency.
