The Zeekr 7X is the stronger all-rounder here: it is a size larger inside, noticeably quicker, charges far faster on its 800-volt hardware and carries an unlimited-kilometre warranty. Pick the Renault Scenic E-Tech instead for its class-leading EV87 range, its more polished European cabin and a smaller footprint that suits tight streets and car parks.

The Zeekr 7X runs 800-volt hardware and claims a 10 to 80 per cent DC top-up in about 13 minutes; the 400-volt Renault Scenic E-Tech needs roughly 32 minutes for a comparable charge.

The Scenic answers with clever packaging: a near-identical 545-litre seats-up boot, a flat rear floor, and a 4,470mm body with a tighter 10.92-metre turning circle. The 7X is the roomier family car; the Scenic the easier one to park.
Based on Everyday & family, we’d pick the Zeekr 7X.
The Scenic wears Renault's current design language, with full-width lighting and 19-inch wheels on the Techno grades, 20s on the Esprit Alpine.
The 7X leads with showroom presence, a clean nose and flush detailing that Australian reviewers rate above its price, on 19- to 21-inch wheels.

you want the longest range in the class and a smaller, easier-to-park car. The Techno Long Range EV87 is the one to have: the full claimed 625km and the better-riding 19-inch wheels, without the flagship's price step. You are trading outright pace and charging speed for European cabin polish, physical controls and a brand with a longer local history.
Explore the Scenic E-Techyou want more car for the money. The Long Range RWD is the press pick: a 100kWh battery, a claimed 615km and the equipment step for $63,900. You get a size more space, 800-volt charging with roughly triple the Scenic's DC peak and an unlimited-kilometre warranty, in exchange for ride polish still arriving and a thinner dealer network.
