The Škoda Enyaq Coupé Sportline is the smarter buy for most: it costs $5,000 less than the Nissan Ariya Evolve, travels further on a charge at 565km WLTP to the Ariya's 487km, fast-charges quicker on DC and holds a longer warranty. Choose the Ariya Evolve only if you want its dual-motor all-wheel-drive traction and faster home charging.
22kW
The Nissan Ariya Evolve charges at 22kW on AC, double the Škoda Enyaq Coupé Sportline's 11kW, so it refills far quicker on the home and destination chargers most owners use every day.

The body tells the story. The Enyaq Coupé Sportline carries a 570-litre boot and tri-zone climate with rear vents, where the Ariya Evolve's boot is 408 litres on dual-zone climate. The coupe roofline does cost the Škoda a little rear headroom, and the Ariya's flat floor frees up knee room, but on outright space and cabin comfort for the school run the Enyaq edges it.
Based on Everyday & family, we’d pick the Skoda Enyaq Coupé.
The Ariya Evolve wears Nissan's smooth, closed-off electric face, a body-colour shield where a grille would sit, slim lighting and flush door handles. The Evolve rides on 20-inch alloys with aero covers, and an available two-tone roof lends the tall, soft-edged body a lounge-on-wheels calm that matches its cabin.
The Enyaq Coupé Sportline leads with Škoda's Tech-Deck face and illuminated Light Band, framed by standard matrix LED headlights and a high-gloss black front. The Sportline trim swaps brightwork for black accents and sits on up to 21-inch black wheels, giving the nose a sharper, more planted European look than the Nissan.

Ariya
Enyaq Coupé
The Ariya Evolve e-4ORCE is the flagship of Nissan's electric SUV range, and the only grade with a motor on each axle.
The Enyaq Coupé Sportline 85 is the entry point to Škoda's swoopy electric SUV, and on the numbers it is the surprise of this pair.

Opinions are our own.
All-weather traction matters to you, and you want the only all-wheel-drive car here. Outright pace matters, where 290kW and 5.6 seconds beat the Sportline's 6.6. You charge mostly at home, so its 22kW AC charging that refills twice as fast earns its keep. You value a calm, lounge-like cabin and a ten-year roadside net, and you will pay $5,000 more and give up some range to get them.
Explore the AriyaValue leads, and you would rather keep the difference. Range matters, where 565km beats the Ariya Evolve's 487 and DC charging is quicker at 165kW. You want the bigger 570-litre boot and tri-zone climate for family duty. A seven-year warranty and 30,000km service intervals appeal. You do not need all-wheel drive, or you would step up to the dearer Coupé RS for it.
